Our Religious Education classes are open to all children of the Parish who are entering 1st thru 6th grades in local public or private schools this fall. The Religious Education classes are held on Tuesdays from 4:00 PM till 5:00 PM. If this time is prohibitive for your schedule, we do offer a program on Sunday Mornings from 8:30 AM till 9:20 AM.

If your child has never attended any formal Religious Education program (CCD classes), he/she will need to attend our program for two years befoe receiving a sacrament. During the second year, the child will begin preparation for the sacrament of Eucharist or Reconciliation and receive the sacrament that year.

Please complete the registration form and include a copy of your child/ren's baptismal certificate. If your child was baptized at St. Christopher you do not need to include a copy, just write in teh date and St. Christopher in the appropriate space on the form. It is especially important that you provide a preferred email address where requested on the form so that you may reeive notices frgarding the Religious Education Program. Please mail your completed registration form, check an dbaptismal certificate (if required) to: St. Christopher Parish, Religious Education Office, 2278 Booksin Avenue, San Jose, CA 95125.

Registration fees are due upon registration. Checks should be made payable to St. Christopher Religious Education. The fees for the 2011/2012 Religious Education Program are as follows:

• One Child - $80

• Two Children - $160

• Three or more Children - $180

The first day of the 2011/2012 Religious Education Program will be Sunday, September 11, 2011 or Tuesday, September 13, 2011. If you would like more information on this program or to volunteer, please conctact Sr. Felicia Gross in the Religious Education Office at 264-8764. If your child is not Catholic and you would like to enroll in Religious Education, please contact Sister Felicia in the Religious Education Office at 264-8764.
